Program description
Chi of Psi Upsilon offers an optional phone (SMS) sign-in for verified alumni of the Chi chapter of Psi Upsilon at Cornell. When you choose phone sign-in and enter your mobile number on our login page, we send a one-time login verification code by text so you can access the members-only portal. This is a transactional account-verification program — we do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your own mobile number and tapping “Text me a code” on the login page. The consent language shown at that point reads: “By tapping ‘Text me a code,’ you agree to receive a one-time login verification code by SMS from Chi of Psi Upsilon. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
Message frequency & cost
- Frequency: Message frequency varies — typically one message per login attempt, only when you request a code.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt out & help
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe; you will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email peter.mack@xpsiupsilon.com. Opting out of SMS does not affect your membership — you can still sign in by email.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and others; carrier participation may change.
Privacy
Your mobile number and consent are used only to deliver login verification codes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our full Privacy Policy.
